Directing a camera in plain language is where video models are weakest: move forward slowly then rise to the right gives a different result on every render. Drawing the path fixes that in one move, because a curve is not ambiguous. You draw a red line on a photo, mark the start with a dot and the end with an arrow, and the camera follows it.
The gesture is also what makes the format accessible: a flyover of a property, a hotel or a building site is made from a single still, with no drone, no pilot and no flight clearance. Ten seconds is the right length: beyond that, the camera eventually drifts off the curve.

How it works

Pick a sharp photo
A wide view with depth: a village on a slope, a facade and its garden, a coastline. The more successive planes the scene has, the more relief the flyover gets.

Draw the path in red
A thin dashed line, a single curve. A dot at the start, an arrow at the end. Any image editor will do, including your phone's markup tool.

Ask for both things
Follow the line, AND do not show it. The second instruction matters as much as the first: without it the annotation stays visible in the render.

Erase the line if it survives
If the line makes it into the render, wire that video into a second Video node and ask for it to be erased. The model will not forget a line that was in the starting image, but it does know how to remove one from a video.

Real estate flyover for a listing
The shot that sells a property: approach from the street, rise above the roof, reveal the garden. The path is drawn in the Camera node rather than in the prompt, which is what keeps the move from wandering. See also home staging for the interior of the same listing.
Opening shot for a YouTube video
Five seconds of flyover is enough to open a video. Pick a location that contrasts with what follows, mountains or a city at night, and cut on the first word of the voice-over: the edit holds the viewer, not the length.
Wedding or estate video
A slow pass over the grounds, late in the day, with raking light. Ask for constant speed and low altitude: fast moves give the synthesis away, slow ones read like a real drone.
FPV and aggressive moves
The other extreme: flying through a window, a vertical dive, a tight roll. Seedance 2.5 handles these better than most, but budget several attempts, and keep one trajectory per prompt rather than three chained together.
Hotels, campsites and tourism
A flyover shows what no photo can: the distance to the beach, the size of the pool, how quiet the site is. One ten-second clip per property, also rendered in 9:16 for social, replaces a real flight that needs permission.
Common mistakes
Writing the movement in the text prompt
That is what the Camera node is for: it translates lens, angle and movement into a language video models actually follow. The guide directing the camera shows the difference on the same shot.
Chaining three moves in ten seconds
A rise, a pan and a dive in the same render gives you a drunk camera. One movement per clip, and let the edit do the rest.
Asking for a very recognisable real location
A specific landmark usually comes back distorted, with a detail that jumps out at anyone who knows the place. Describe the type of landscape rather than naming it.
A clear red, well separated from the colours in the photo. Thin and dashed rather than thick and solid: a solid line gets read as an object in the scene and becomes harder to erase.
Why ten seconds and not thirty?
Because fidelity to the curve degrades with duration. Over ten seconds the camera follows the line end to end; beyond that it improvises the rest of the trip.
Do I need a drone to start with?
No, one photo is enough, taken at eye level or from a window. That is the whole point: the flyover is built, not filmed.
Do I need a drone or a flight permit?
No, nothing is filmed: the shot is generated. That is precisely the point in urban areas, where flying is regulated, and for properties that cannot legally be overflown.
Can I fly over a real house from a photo?
Partly: wiring a photo into the node keeps the general look, but the model reinvents the sides it cannot see. In a listing, present the shot as an illustration, never as footage of the property.
Which duration should I pick?
Five seconds for an opener, ten for a flyover that tells a story. Price follows duration: Seedance 2.5 is 120 credits for five seconds and 240 for ten, shown on the button before you click.
Is the render in 4K?
Video models render at 720p or 1080p depending on the node setting. That covers social and online listings; for a big screen, plan an upscale in your editing software.
