RunComfy runs ComfyUI in the browser on rented GPUs. That is the difference that matters: your existing workflows and custom nodes transfer as they are, with nothing to rewrite.

Its pricing is machine pricing. Pay as You Go has no subscription and bills GPU time by the second, shown per hour: $0.99 on a T4 or A4000, up to $9.59 on an H200. The Pro plan costs $19.99 a month billed yearly, $29.99 monthly, and adds a $10 monthly credit, 20 CPU hours for uploads, 200 GB of permanent storage and 20%+ off GPU rates. There is no free tier.

Imaginode does not sell compute time, it sells generations. 1 credit is $0.012, the exact price appears on the button before the click, an image starts at 1 credit with Flux Schnell and a 5 second Kling 2.5 Turbo video costs 26 credits. Nothing to boot, nothing to install.

When to choose RunComfy

  • You already have ComfyUI workflows and custom nodes: they run on RunComfy without a line rewritten.
  • You want to pick your GPU, up to an H200, and pay for that power by the second.
  • You rely on community nodes or models that closed platforms do not expose.

When to choose Imaginode

  • You want to know what a generation costs before running it, not after counting machine minutes.
  • You want nothing to administer: no GPU, no model to download, no environment to save.
  • You produce irregularly: a failed generation costs you nothing.
  • You want to budget your month before paying, with the calculator.

Frequently asked questions

Which one is cheaper?

They do not bill for the same thing. RunComfy sells GPU time: an hour of T4 costs $0.99 whatever you do with it. Imaginode sells generations: an image from 1 credit, a 5 second Kling video 26 credits, failures refunded. Which is cheaper depends on how busy you keep the machine.

Can a ComfyUI workflow be imported into Imaginode?

No. Imaginode has its own node system and does not run ComfyUI. If your value sits in existing ComfyUI workflows, RunComfy remains the right choice.

Is a subscription required on either side?

No on both. RunComfy has Pay as You Go, Imaginode has top-ups. A subscription only buys a discount.
