These two videos are the studio's renders, compressed to 720p for this page. Those files are what you then hand to the video generator as a motion reference.

What is 3D previz for AI video?

Previz (previsualization) means building a simplified version of a shot in 3D, with grey volumes, mannequins and a real camera, to decide framing, lens and movement before producing the final image. Applied to AI video, it replaces dozens of prompt attempts with a scene you set once, then hand to the model as a reference.

A video generator like Seedance, Kling or Wan understands "a tracking shot following the bird between the towers" very well when you show it the start frame, the end frame and the trajectory. It guesses badly when you only write it in words. Previz produces exactly those three things.

How it works

    Describe the scene

    One sentence, plus reference images if you have them. The AI director places the set, the characters, the lights and a first camera in a validated 3D scene, never executed code.

    Set up the shot

    Move everything with the mouse, select a camera, pick a lens from 14 to 135 mm, apply one of 25 camera moves or draw the path click by click. The timeline holds several shots and their keyframes.

  3. 3

    Export and generate

    Start frame, end frame, reference video, contact sheet, storyboard, and a full package with the structured prompt and camera data. On the Imaginode canvas, all of it feeds a Video node directly.

What the studio does

AI director in two modes

Ask for "a low camera behind the character" or "backlight the scene": the assistant applies precise operations to the scene, or answers your questions without touching anything. Cost shown before every message.

Cinema cameras

Full-frame lenses, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 21:9 and 4:5 ratios, framing overlays, picture-in-picture preview of the selected camera, letterboxed camera view, move presets, start and end frames.

Recorded virtual camera

Switch to fly or walk mode, record your move by hand, then smooth, stabilize and trim the take. Human shake becomes a clean camera track.

Blocking kit

Walls, floors, stairs, arches, bridges, rocks, trees, vehicles, animals, 1.75 m mannequins, image planes for your references, GLB model import. Smart placement: on the floor, facing the target, centered in frame.

Light and mood

Sun, spotlights, point lights, lighting and environment presets (studio, day, night, fog and more), materials, shadows. Enough to read a scene, never enough to slow your machine down.

Free exports

Images up to 4K, mp4 video encoded in the browser, contact sheet, storyboard of every shot, AI package with Seedance prompt, shot description and camera metadata. No credits spent.

Does 3D previz replace the video generator?

No. It produces the reference the generator follows: start frame, end frame, reference video of the move and structured prompt. The final render is still made by Seedance, Kling, Wan or the model of your choice, on the Imaginode canvas.

How much does a scene cost?

Building it with the AI director costs from 5 credits, 12 on average (one credit is one cent), and every edit message shows its cost before sending. Everything else, manipulation, rendering, exports, is free.

Do I need to know a 3D application?

No. You describe, you drag, you click. The shortcuts of a 3D application (V, W, E, R, F) are there for those who know them, and a help panel lists them.

Can I import my own models?

Yes, in GLB format, as well as reference images placed as planes in the scene or as billboards that always face the camera.

How does the camera move reach the generated video?

Three ways. The start and end frames fix the framing at both ends. The structured prompt describes the move in cinema terms (lens, height, tracking, speed). And the reference video serves as a motion reference for the models that accept one, such as Kling 3.0 Motion Control.

Does it work on mobile?

The studio is designed for a computer screen. On a phone you can open a project, play its shots and run the exports, but precise placement is done with a mouse.
