Suno is the go-to tool for writing a song with AI: lyrics, vocals, arrangement, generation at volume, stem separation, custom models, and on Premier a Suno Studio with MIDI and effects. Its v6 and v6-wild models are for subscribers; the free account runs a lighter version. If you want to compose, iterate and release tracks, no general-purpose catalog matches it, Imaginode included.
Per song, it is very cheap. Free: 50 credits a day, no commercial rights and no downloads. Pro: $10 a month, or $8 billed annually, for 2,500 credits and 20 downloads a month. Premier: $30, or $24 billed annually, for 10,000 credits and 60 downloads. Third-party reviews put a song at about 5 credits, so several hundred generations a month on Pro, with a much lower download cap.
Imaginode offers ElevenLabs Music, which sings your lyrics or produces an instrumental up to three minutes, at 84 credits for a one-minute track, plus Seed Audio for ambiences and sound scenes. Is Imaginode a good Suno alternative?
For writing and producing songs at volume, no: Suno is far more complete and far cheaper per track. Imaginode becomes an alternative when the music is part of a visual project and you would rather have one tool and one balance.
Does Imaginode sing my lyrics?
Yes: with ElevenLabs Music, put your lyrics after an instruction to sing them exactly, and the model follows them in order. Instrumental mode drops the vocals for background music.
Why do 30 seconds cost the same 84 credits as one minute?
The provider bills each started minute: 30 seconds cost a full minute. Ask for at least one minute and trim afterwards if needed.
Can I use a free Suno song commercially?
Not according to Suno: commercial rights only cover songs made while on a Pro or Premier subscription. On Imaginode, commercial rights apply from the trial credits onward.
