Nothing is uploaded: everything happens in your browser

Photos of documents taken with an iPhone are in HEIC, and government offices, banks and employers ask for a PDF. Drop the photos and they form a single PDF with one page per photo, without going through an app or a website that keeps your papers.

How to convert HEIC to PDF

  1. 1Drop your HEIC files in the box, or click to pick them. You can add several at once.
  2. 2PDF is already selected. Open the settings if you want to change the quality, the size or the background.
  3. 3Download each file, or everything at once as a .zip. Nothing was uploaded: the conversion happened on your device.

The formats

HEIC

The iPhone's photo format since 2017. It keeps the same quality as a JPG at about half the size. Windows and many websites and apps cannot read it without an add-on, hence the need to convert it before sharing or printing.

PDF

The format for documents to send and print. An image in a PDF looks the same on every device, and several images can make one multi-page document, ready to attach to an email or a file.

Your files stay with you

The conversion runs in your browser, with your device's decoders. No file is uploaded, no copy is kept, and nobody but you sees your photos or videos. You can check it in the Network tab of your browser's developer tools: none of your files goes out.

Frequently asked questions

Are my documents sent anywhere?

No, and that is the whole point for ID cards or statements: the PDF is built in your browser, and no file leaves your device.

Can I choose the page order?

Pages follow the order of the list. Add the photos in the order you want, or remove one and add it again at the end.

Is the converter really free?

Yes, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of files. The conversion runs on your device and costs us nothing, so there is nothing to charge you for.

Are my files sent anywhere?

No. They are read and converted in your browser, then saved straight to your device. No server receives them.

Is there a maximum size?

The limit is your device's memory. Photos and audio files go through without trouble; for a video of several gigabytes, a computer does better than a phone.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, on iPhone and Android, in Safari, Chrome or Firefox. For video, an up-to-date browser is needed: it provides the decoders being used.
