Grok Imagine in extension mode continues an existing video from its last frame: you describe what happens next, the model generates the continuation in the source format, up to ten more seconds, with its soundtrack. The result is the added segment alone, to chain in the Edit node after the original, which lets you lengthen a shot that ends too soon or give it a punchline without regenerating everything. The source must last between two and eight seconds. The first-generation xAI Grok Imagine is the only model on the Gateway able to extend, its 1.5 version only doing image-to-video.
