Transfer a motion with Kling 3.0 Motion Control
Kling 3.0 Motion Control transfers the movement of a video onto the character of an image: a dance, a walk, an arm gesture filmed once and replayed by the person or creature in your photo, face and clothes held from start to finish. It is the tool that replaces a shooting session with a simple reference clip. The result lasts as long as the motion video, from three to thirty seconds depending on the chosen framing, in 720p or 1080p, and the sound of the driving video can be kept or muted. A single subject visible full-length, with no cuts or camera moves, gives the best transfers.
Capabilities
- Motion video as input (3 to 30s): the gesture is replayed by the character in the image
- Sound of the motion video kept, optionally
- Resolutions: 720p, 1080p
- Durations: 3–30 s
What motion transfer does
You provide two things: a video where someone moves, dances, walks, makes a gesture, and an image of a character. Kling 3.0 Motion Control renders a video where the character of the image performs exactly the motion of the video, with their head, clothes and setting. It is the gesture going around social networks under the name motion transfer, or Genjutsu on other platforms: make a photo dance, have a mascot replay a choreography, animate a drawn character with a real filmed body.
Two reference framings are possible. In video orientation, the output takes the frame and duration of the motion video, up to thirty seconds. In image orientation, it keeps the frame of the image, and the duration caps at ten seconds. The sound of the motion video can be kept, useful for a dance on its own music.
How it is billed on Imaginode
Kling charges per second of video produced, with two tiers, 720p and 1080p. On Imaginode the duration is never declared: the server measures the wired motion video and bills that length, rounded up to the second. The exact price shows on the Generate button as soon as the video is wired, and a technical failure is refunded automatically. A short, clean motion video, three to ten seconds, a single subject framed full-length, gives the best results at the best price.
Preparing both inputs well
The motion video must show a single person, whole, without a cut, filmed from the front or three-quarters, on a calm background: it provides the skeleton of the motion. The character image must be sharp, preferably full-length, in a pose close to the first frame of the video. A seated character for a standing dance video forces the model to invent legs. The prompt stays optional: it serves the setting, the mood and the camera move, not the gesture.
How to use it on Imaginode
- 1Upload into two Media nodes the video whose motion you want to reuse and the image of the character who will perform it.
- 2Wire the image into the image port and the video into the video port of a Video node set to Kling 3.0 Motion Control: the duration is measured on the video, the price shows before you click.
- 3Choose the reference framing, image or video, describe the setting if you like, and generate: the character replays the motion exactly.
Frequently asked questions
